Memopezil Supplement Facts: The Full Label Typed Out

Quick answer

The Memopezil label sets a serving at 2 capsules, with 30 servings per container.

It lists five lines: BCAA 540 mg, bacopa 200 mg, rhodiola 100 mg, L-theanine 100 mg and ginseng 90 mg. Every word of the label is typed out below.

To learn what each one does, read the ingredients guide.

§ 01The panel

What does the Memopezil supplement facts panel say?

It says two capsules make one serving, a bottle holds 30 servings, and five ingredients add up to 1,030 mg.

Serving size is 2 capsules. Servings per container is 30. The five lines, in the order printed, are branched chain amino acids 2:1:1 (L-leucine, L-isoleucine, L-valine) at 540 mg, bacopa monnieri extract at 200 mg, rhodiola rosea extract (3% salidroside) at 100 mg, L-theanine at 100 mg and Panax ginseng extract at 90 mg. (Memopezil sales page)

The panel has a column for percent Daily Value. Every line carries a dagger, and the footnote reads "Daily Value Not Established." That is normal for herbs and amino acids with no set daily value. It does not mean the amount is safe or useful; it means no official daily target exists.

Under the panel come the other ingredients, then a box with the FDA statement. The tap-through version below lets you read the panel on a phone, one part at a time.

  1. Serving size

2 capsules per serving and 30 servings per container. The label dose is one serving a day.

  2. BCAA 2:1:1

Branched chain amino acids (L-leucine, L-isoleucine, L-valine) 540 mg, about half of the 1,030 mg. The 2:1:1 ratio is printed; the split is not.

  3. Bacopa monnieri

200 mg of extract. The trial in this site's sources used 300 mg a day.

  4. Rhodiola rosea

100 mg of extract standardized to 3% salidroside, which is about 3 mg of salidroside if the 3% is by weight.

  5. L-theanine

100 mg. One small trial used 200 mg a day for 4 weeks.

  6. Panax ginseng

90 mg of extract, the smallest line.

  7. Daily Value

A dagger says Daily Value Not Established. None of the five lines has a percent Daily Value.

  8. Other ingredients

Microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (the capsule) and magnesium stearate. The label says it contains no allergens.

  9. FDA statement

'These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration...' The structure/function wording needs it.

  10. Facility line

'Manufactured in an FDA registered facility.' Registration is not approval.

§ 03Word for word

Everything printed on the label

The flat label has more than the panel. The table types out every line in the order it appears, so you can search it, copy it and read it with a screen reader.

§ 04Reading it

What the label says, and how to read it

Directions. Take two capsules a day with an 8 oz glass of water. Take them 20 to 30 minutes before a meal "for best results," or as directed by your healthcare professional. The label does not say morning, noon or night. The sales page says morning; the label does not, so we do not state it as a rule. (Memopezil sales page)

Caution. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Pregnant or nursing mothers, anyone under 18 and anyone with a known medical condition should consult a physician before using this or any dietary supplement. The bottle also says to keep it out of the reach of children and not to use it if the safety seal is damaged or missing.

Storage. Two lines: keep it away from heat, light and humidity, and store in a cool, dry place. There is no "refrigerate" or "use within" instruction.

Support claims. The front says "Supports a sharper mind and healthy memory," "Promotes focus and concentration" and "Supports cognitive function and mental clarity." Each has an asterisk that leads to the FDA statement in the box. A supplement may describe how an ingredient affects the body's normal structure or function. It may not claim to treat a disease. § 05Not printed

What the label does not tell you

Label gaps, and where this site stands on each
Missing or unclearWhy it mattersWhat we do
The maker or factoryThe label names a distributor only: GEX Corp, Lakeland, FL 33804.We say who is named, and we do not guess a manufacturer.
A lot number or expiry dateThese help trace a bottle. The label prints neither; the seller gave a reference separately.See the batch verify page. A seller reference is not a lab result.
A certification"FDA registered facility" is a statement about the factory. The label names no GMP certificate or lab.See testing and quality. Registration is not approval. (FDA, Is It Really 'FDA Approved'?)
Extract strength for bacopa and ginsengOnly rhodiola names a marker (3% salidroside). We compare only what the label and studies share.
The individual amino acids540 mg is the total; the 2:1:1 ratio is printed, the three weights are not.We show the total and do not invent a split.

The distributor's phone number on the label, +1 (507) 448-8190, is the same number the order desk uses. We could not confirm who answers it, and we say so on the contact page.

§ 06Label vs sales page

Where the label and the sales page disagree

Two documents describe the formula, and they do not match. The label lists the branched chain amino acids and no honey. The sales page lists Pure Honey, rhodiola root powder and no amino acids. (Memopezil sales page)

The label is printed on the bottle and falls under FDA labeling rules, so it wins here. If you want to be sure which version you will get, ask the order desk before you buy and compare the bottle to the label above when it arrives.

Tell us if your bottle looks different. A photo of the panel from a real bottle is the most useful thing a reader can send, and the website inbox is [email protected].

FAQ

Memopezil label: your questions

What does Daily Value Not Established mean on Memopezil?

It means no official daily target exists for that nutrient, so the label cannot print a percent. Herbs and amino acids often fall here. The phrase says nothing about whether 540 mg, 200 mg or any other amount is helpful or safe.

Does the Memopezil label say when to take it?

It says to take two capsules daily with 8 oz of water, and for best results 20 to 30 minutes before a meal. No time of day is printed. The sales page's "morning" is not on the bottle, so it is a suggestion, not a rule. (Memopezil sales page)

Who makes Memopezil?

The label does not say. It prints "Distributed by GEX Corp, Lakeland, FL 33804" and "manufactured in an FDA registered facility," with no factory name. A distributor sells a product; it need not be the maker. We list what is printed and no more.

What does the asterisk on the Memopezil label mean?

It points to the FDA statement in the box: these statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, and the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Support claims need it. (FDA, Structure/Function Claims)

Does the Memopezil label list an expiry date?

Not in the label we typed out. Check your own bottle for a printed date or lot code when it arrives. If none is printed, ask the order desk and note the answer with your order ID. A missing date is a fair reason to ask.

Is the amount of each ingredient really on the label?

Yes. The label prints 540, 200, 100, 100 and 90 mg for the five lines. That is a point in its favor, because a proprietary blend would hide the split. We cannot verify the amounts by lab test, and neither can the label by itself.

Why does the label say 'globally sourced'?

The line reads "Made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients." It means the capsules were made in the US from ingredients that came from several countries. It does not name the countries, the suppliers or any test of the raw material.
